'Show Some Love' for ALL critical and essential workers by decorating the heart in this link and displaying in your window. The 'Stay Safe Protect Bucks' team are aiming to fill the windows across Bucks with hearts.

Show some love for key workers this Valentine’s day "Show some love to key workers this Valentines Day" by placing a heart in your window from Monday 1 February through to Valentine’s Day on Sunday 14 February.

Due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19 this year, the Council is supporting pupils who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals and are committed to ensuring that no child in need goes hungry.

This Autumn half term to ensure that families across Bucks, with children eligible for free school meals, know how to access the wide range of support that is available. Does my child need a COVID-19 test? Find out if you need to get your child tested for coronavirus and whether they need to stay off school.

We've been made aware that face coverings for babies and very young children are available for sale in England.

Children under the age of three should NOT wear face coverings, as they could cause choking or suffocation.

Message to parents on using health services during COVID (this message has been developed in collaboration between the local NHS, GP representatives and public health.)

Please remember, A&E services and your GP practice are still open during the coronavirus outbreak.

GP surgeries are not allowing patients to directly book face to face appointments at the moment, to help stop the spread of the virus. They are, however, more than happy to discuss your case over the phone and to offer advice and guidance. In some cases they may be able to consult by video link, using mobile phones. If clinically appropriate, they can invite you to attend the surgery for an appointment at an arranged time.

It is really important to stay well at this difficult time, so please contact your GP surgery if your child is poorly with any symptoms that cause you concern. With so much attention on coronavirus at the moment, we are aware you may be concerned your child has a different illness or may be living with a worrying condition like asthma or diabetes.

So, if you are worried, please call your surgery to arrange a telephone consultation, or you can use the AskNHS app to book a call-back if you are 16 or over. This parent information form, produced by Barts Health and North-East London STP, gives very useful advice on when to use services like GPs, pharmacists, A&E and 999.


All your health service staff are still there for you, even though they are having to do things a little differently. Please don't be afraid to use them if you are concerned about your child's health.

COVID 19 update (12/03/2020):

Following latest Government advice, we will be remaining open. Please do not send children in with a cough or fever.

If you (parents/carers) have a cough or high temperature, please do not come to Pre-School to drop your child off.

Please ensure you update yourselves with all latest advice from Government with regards to self isolation.

Imaginative play is a perfect opportunity to talk to your child about what you're doing (providing a running commentary) and to introduce new vocabulary.

Never underestimate the words a child can say and understand; if a child can say 'diplodocus' or 'astronaut' they can say anything!
