Come along with your little ones to Wycombe Museum for a Christmassy 'Babes in the Wood' Forest School session for toddlers on Thursday 19th December!

Nature's Jewels will be joined by the lovely Vicky of Fox and Cubs Forest School for this extra special morning of fun, food, exploration and creation. A session not to be missed!

Babes in the Wood with Nature's Jewels launches with a taster session next Thursday 5th October.

Babes in the Wood is an outdoor forest school session, where your little ones can enjoying nature in the Museum’s beautiful grounds, whatever the weather! Join us for an hour and a half outdoor play and exploring, with a different theme every time.

I’m taking a break from Fox & Cubs to start a new job this autumn. I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey these last eight years. Old friends and new, children full of awe and wonder for the world, and lots of happy memories! I’ll leave you with a little pic of some ‘Fox & Cubs’ flowers I saw blooming in Wycombe Museum’s grounds last week. I may be back someday, but in the meantime keep on exploring, discovering and nurturing those little future guardians of the world. Vicky x 🦊

Something for the summer holidays 🦋🐝🦇

The Chilterns is home to amazing wildlife and plants. The chalky ground makes for unique habitats – super rare chalk streams, beech woodlands, and chalky grasslands.

Join in with our summer-long Chiltern Wildlife Trail, hunt around the museum’s beautiful grounds to uncover facts about 10 of the creatures and plants that make the Chilterns their home!

Best for children aged 4 – 11. Younger children are welcome – they might just need a bit of extra help from a grown-up.
