We are a small setting that opened in September 2023, and we have been continuing to grow ever since! We completely renovated our fantastic site, therefore everything is fresh and new. We have more and more families joining us over the next few months in both our 9 months - 2 years room, and 2-5 years room too. As a result, we have multiple positions available across the nursery, from apprentice level to room manager.

Animals have continued to be a big interest here at Happy Learners this week. We loved making animal footprints in play dough and seeing all the different shapes and sizes we could make🐴🦖

Our Happy Learners have been enjoying the cold weather recently. We spoke about how we were “so chilly” in the garden and one of our children mentioned “I am so cold like a penguin”. This sparked a conversation about the different habitats and climates animals live in, which then became an interest, with lots of questions and facts being shared. We made a tuff tray with a range of different “animal homes”. We explored the different textures within the tray and the children confidently placed each animal in the different habitats. Wow! Isn’t it cold? Here at Happy Learners we left some of our toy animals and boats in our outdoor water tray over night, and discovered that they had frozen the next day! We wrapped up warm in our winter clothes and worked as a team to free the animals and boats, and eventually melt the thick ice too. We had a great time, This smile says it all 😄
