Many congratulations to the Lancaster Responsive residence for achieving Butterfly Accreditation this year and joining the growing family.

One team member described the experience as being incredible. She has noticed a great change - more togetherness, more being as a family, not just seeing the residents but making them feel a part of the family and giving them a voice. This has been impactful and morale has improved; their stories have been heard and can be kept alive even after they are gone.

Another team member told us, “I love the fact that the community members are enjoying more daily tasks like setting the tables, sweeping the floors, watering plants and folding towels.”
Thank you to the whole team and community for believing in the changes we all wanted to see!

“The first day I entered his bedroom, I noticed sketches on the wall of a church and realised he was the architect of the church where I was baptised, made my communion and attended weekly masses with my family.”
