🌟 Year 4 Adventure at Beaumanor Hall! 🌟
What an incredible time our and children had on their residential trip to Beaumanor Hall! The children showed fantastic enthusiasm, resilience and teamwork throughout a range of exciting outdoor activities including:
🧗 Rock Climbing – The children challenged themselves to reach new heights, demonstrating courage and determination as they tackled the climbing wall.
🛶 Canoeing – There were lots of smiles and laughter on the water as the children developed their paddling skills and worked together to steer their canoes.
🌿 Den Building – Teamwork and creativity were on full display as groups worked together to design and build their own woodland shelters.
👣 Night Line – Trust and communication were key during this exciting challenge, where children navigated a course while relying on their teammates and senses.
We are incredibly proud of how the children embraced every opportunity, supported one another and stepped outside their comfort zones. The trip was filled with memorable experiences, new friendships and lots of fun!

Year 6 had a fantastic time during their visit to De Montfort University this week!
The children learned all about university life and the opportunities that higher education can offer. They took part in an engaging talk where they discussed what a typical university student is like and explored the skills and qualities needed to succeed. The visit also included a tour of the campus, giving pupils the chance to see the university facilities and experience the atmosphere of student life firsthand.
The children loved their time at DMU and it opened their eyes to everything university could offer in the future!

What an incredible day for our Year 6 pupils exploring the University of Leicester! 🎓✨
Our pupils got a true taste of university life, stepping into the shoes of doctors in a hands-on medicine lecture using real stethoscopes, and testing their engineering skills with a brilliant Lego earthquake challenge. They also channelled their creativity with the university's Crafts Society to design their own graduation caps before taking a full tour of the campus.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the finale - dressing up in full graduation gowns and throwing their handmade caps high into the air! We are so proud of how brilliantly they represented our school. The future is looking incredibly bright for these young minds! 🌟

We had a wonderful day yesterday visiting two very different churches, and learning about St. Paul and the miracle that changed his life and led him to follow God. The children were, as always, enthusiastic, respectful, and eager to learn. A huge thank you to Rev. Liz and all the staff at the church who helped make the day such a special experience.
