Hot Weather Reminder
With the warm weather continuing, we would like to remind all families to help pupils stay safe and comfortable during the school day.
Please ensure that pupils:
π§ Bring a refillable water bottle and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
𧴠Apply sunscreen before coming to school and, where appropriate, bring sunscreen to reapply.
π Wear suitable clothing for the weather, including hats and lightweight layers where permitted.
π³ Make use of shaded areas during break and lunchtime where possible.
Staying hydrated, protected from the sun and dressed appropriately will help everyone enjoy the warmer weather safely.
Thank you for your support in helping us keep our pupils healthy, happy and ready to learn.

Congratulations to all of our Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburghβs Award participants who successfully completed their overnight expeditions last week!
Despite facing changeable weather conditions throughout their journeys, our pupils demonstrated outstanding resilience, perseverance, teamwork, and determination. They supported one another, adapted to the challenges they encountered, and showed great maturity and commitment every step of the way.
We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and the positive attitude they displayed throughout the experience. Well done to everyone involved!

Our Year 10 and 11 pupils recently enjoyed a visit to Wymeswold Fruit Farm, where they picked fresh, juicy strawberries that were transformed into delicious homemade jam.
The jam was then lovingly baked into beautiful Victoria Sponge Cakes and Gluten-Free Strawberry & Lemon Cakes with our amazing Food Tech teacher, showcasing the pupils' creativity, teamwork and baking skills.
Today, these delicious treats are being sold at a school bake sale to help raise funds for our Year 11 leavers' celebrations. We are so proud of the effort, enthusiasm and enterprise shown by our pupils throughout the entire process β from picking the fruit to baking and selling the finished products!
A huge thank you to everyone supporting the bake sale. Every slice helps make our Year 11 celebrations even more special. ππβ¨
