🌿Roots and Rivers is a dance film that uses the metaphor of water to explore resilience, adaptability and interconnectedness. Dancers embody currents and flows, moving between unity and divergence, symbolising how nature mirrors human relationships and emotional cycles.

We’re excited to be co-hosting an Advanced Bharatanatyam Workshop with award-winning choreographer Seeta Patel (Seeta Patel ), in partnership with Inspirate ✨

📍 International Arts Centre, Leicester

Designed for experienced dancers, this immersive workshop offers the opportunity to deepen spatial awareness in ensemble settings, explore intentional movement through Bharatanatyam technique, and engage in choreographic devising.

The day will begin with a 1.5-hour conditioning session before moving into an intensive and collaborative creative process with Seeta Patel, giving participants a rare opportunity to learn, develop and create alongside one of the UK’s leading Bharatanatyam artists.

Founder and Associate Director Shreya Vadnerkar were invited to attend Bank Of Dave: The Musical at Curve Leicester where NupuCurve Leicesterured in the Local Heroes exhibition, as one of Curve’s Associate Companies.

The exhibition celebrates individuals and organisations in Leicester who have thought like Dave, identifying a gap in their community and creating an enterprise, business, or service to fill it.

A heartfelt thank you to Curve Theatre for recognising our work, impact and mission. We are incredibly proud to be an Associate Company and to see our story celebrated alongside other local organisations making a difference in our communities.
