🌟 Year 8 MIRA STEM Speed Networking! 🌟Friday 5th June
Our Year 8 pupils had an amazing opportunity to take part in a STEM Speed Networking event at MIRA, designed to inspire them to explore exciting careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Pupils interviewed a range of industry professionals, asking about their job roles, qualifications, daily responsibilities, and career journeys. They discovered the many different paths that can lead to success in STEM and heard inspiring stories about how passion and perseverance can shape a career.
We’re so proud of our pupils for showing curiosity, confidence, and maturity throughout the event. Experiences like this help them make informed choices about their futures and highlight the incredible possibilities that STEM can offer. 💡🔬⚙️

🌼 Leadership School Action Group Visit to Charnwood Care Home 🌼
Our Leadership School Action Group spent a lovely afternoon at Charnwood Care Home on Friday 5th June as part of their community project. Pupils brought along flowers and worked side‑by‑side with the residents to plant them in the garden.
Everyone got really involved, and the residents commented on how beautiful the flowers were. They shared how much the visit had brightened up their flower bed — and their day.
We’re incredibly proud of our pupils for their kindness, teamwork, and the positive impact they continue to make in our community. Moments like these truly matter. 💛🌷

This week a group of year 7's had the opportunity to visit De Montfort University. To explore a little about what University life is like. The group participated in team building exercises and had a fantastic tour of the campus.

Congratulations to our DofE Bronze cohort for completing their expedition. An achievement. All worked as a team to push each other to the next check point and finally to the end. A show of courage, resilience and determination.
