🌟 Employee in the Spotlight! 🌟

Meet Miss Kaur, one of our lovely Year 3 class teachers!

Miss Kaur joined our school in May 2023, working mainly in Reception and years 1 and 2, and now teaches year 3. She plans and delivers lessons across the curriculum while supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

Miss Kaur said:
“One of my favourite parts of teaching is building relationships with the children and seeing their personalities shine throughout the year. I love those moments when a children feel proud of themselves or discover they have achieved something new. I enjoy helping children develop a love of reading and seeing them become excited about books and stories.”

Miss Kaur feels the strong sense of community makes our school special and loves the caring atmosphere throughout the school. Outside of school, she enjoys gym classes, running, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with a good book. She is also a huge fan of quiz shows, especially Countdown!

Thank you, Miss Kaur, for your dedication and enthusiasm. Always smiling, you help make our school a happy place to learn.

Throwback to an amazing Year 5 project!

Last half term, Year 5 had the exciting opportunity to work with the National Space Centre and a local artist to create a model of the planet Uranus. Their ideas and creativity were brought to life as part of the Planet Parade exhibition at Phoenix Arts Centre.

Here’s a look back at their wonderful trip into town to see the finished artwork displayed in all its glory. While they were there, the children also enjoyed exploring New Walk Museum, making it a memorable day!

Exciting news for the community - the Eyres Monsell Summer Fayre is officially in the works!

We’re busy planning a fantastic day full of fun, laughter, and something for everyone… with stalls, games, food, entertainment, and plenty of community spirit.

Save the date - Thursday 2nd July - and keep your eyes peeled for more updates!

Looking for before school care?

Eyres Monsell Breakfast Club gives your child a safe, happy place to start the day. Children can enjoy fun activities, make new friends, and have snacks and drinks to help them feel ready and alert.
It runs every morning from 7:45am–8:35am and costs £2 per session.

As Arts & Crafts Club at Eyres Monsell comes to the end of its first term, the children finished with a busy session making keyrings and charms!

Mrs Seager and Mrs Boddice would like to thank all the children for making their Arts & Crafts sessions so much fun and such a great success. They have both really enjoyed their time with the group.
