🌞 Important Update – Thursday Session Cancelled 🌞

Due to the current Amber Heat Warning, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Thursday’s Sidney Shakers session at Five Rivers Living.

The safety and wellbeing of the residents and the children is top priority. With the extreme temperatures forecast, we want everyone to stay safe, stay cool, and avoid unnecessary travel or exposure to the heat.

💧 Please remember to stay hydrated, keep cool, and check in on family, friends, and neighbours who may need extra support during the hot weather.

Yesterday at Watermead Rose Care , we had soooo much fun with our wonderful friends! 💛🎶

There was lots of singing, dancing, laughter, and smiles all around. We had special requests for The Birdie Song 🐦 and Wheels on the Bus 🚌, and of course, we were more than happy to oblige!

Thank you to everyone who joined in and made the session so special. We love creating happy memories together and can’t wait to do it all again soon! 🎵✨

Today at Five Rivers Living we witnessed some truly beautiful interactions between the children and our residents. ❤️

There was lots of laughter, dancing together, and plenty of fun playing with the parachute. Moments like these are so special and remind us of the joy that intergenerational activities can bring.

It is heartwarming to see the friendships and bonds developing between young and old, creating memories that will be treasured by everyone involved.

We have had the best week this week at Sidney shakers. We had lots of fun but there was also lots of moments of pure joy and real connections between residents and the children

Yesterday we had so much fun shaking out our sillies at Watermead Rose Care Home ! 🎉

The pom-poms were a firm favourite among both the residents and the children. The smiles, laughter, and joy shared throughout the session were truly infectious, creating a wonderful atmosphere for everyone involved.
