π»πΏ POLAR BEARS CONTINUE THEIR MOVEMENT & TRAVEL ADVENTURES πΏπ»
Our Polar Bears have continued exploring this monthβs concept, Movement & Travel, through a variety of exciting hands-on experiences! πβ¨
Inspired by one of our favourite stories, Tip Tip Dig Dig, the children enjoyed investigating a sensory tuff tray filled with mud, natural materials and construction-themed resources. They loved digging, transporting and exploring the different textures while bringing the story to life through play. π±π§
The children also demonstrated growing independence during snack time by peeling their own fruit. ππ This provided a wonderful opportunity to strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence in self-care routines.
Outside in the garden, the adventures continued as the children:
β¨ Climbed and balanced on the balancing beans
β¨ Developed coordination, balance and physical confidence
β¨ Explored the mud kitchen through imaginative play
β¨ Investigated different textures and natural materials
β¨ Used their bodies to move, climb, balance and explore
These experiences support childrenβs physical development, problem-solving skills, independence and understanding of movement through meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities.
We are so proud of our curious little explorers and the confidence they show when trying new challenges! ππ
