As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, graduate Chris McCourt has created A Living History – an immersive installation celebrating the people, stories and creativity that have shaped LIPA over the last three decades 🙌

Created in collaboration with Mark Featherstone-Witty, the installation transforms the war memorial courtyard into a living archive, bringing together moments from LIPA’s past, present and future.

We are heartbroken to have learned last week of the death of our graduate, Owain Rhys Davies.

Owain graduated from our Acting course in 2003 and had a successful career on both stage and screen. Owain's friend and LIPA classmate Catherine Jones has paid tribute:

"You always knew Owain was in the room. He bounded into his first term at LIPA and instantly became one of the most colourful characters in the class of 2003 famous for his backflips, his Tom Jones karaoke, acerbic wit and natural ability to build friendships across year groups and courses. He was our kind, funny, loyal, annoying, talented, generous brother."

You can read Catherine's beautiful tribute in full on the news pages of our website.

Our thoughts are with Owain's family and friends.
