The Geopolitical Earthquake:
The geopolitical landscape of the Middle East and South Asia has been irrevocably altered in the last twenty-four hours. Last night, the United States and Israel launched a full-scale military offensive against Iran, resulting in the martyrdom of Ayatollah al-Udhma Ali Khamenei, along with several top commanders of the Iranian military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Iranian state television has officially confirmed that the 86-year-old Supreme Leader of the Revolution was martyred in the joint US-Israeli strikes. Alongside him, senior military officials including Abdolrahim Mousavi, Aziz Nasirzadeh, Mohammad Pakpour, Ali Shamkhani, and numerous other high-ranking commanders also attained martyrdom. According to the Iranian Red Crescent, at least 201 people have been martyred and over 700 injured in these attacks, which includes the tragic martyrdom of 85 schoolgirls in a strike on a girls' school in the southern city of Minab.

In the immediate aftermath of these strikes, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps declared the Strait of Hormuz as unsafe and issued warnings to all vessels that traversing the strait under the current security situation is extremely hazardous. Consequently, nearly seventy percent of ships either reversed course or anchored in the Gulf of Oman, effectively halting the transit of twenty percent of the global oil supply that passes through the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump has announced his intention to "obliterate" the Iranian navy, while Iran has retaliated by targeting the US Fifth Fleet's facility in Bahrain, the Al-Udeid American airbase in Qatar, various strategic assets in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Tel Aviv, and the Ali Al Salem Airbase in Kuwait.

Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined his vision in an interview, announcing the formation of a "Hexagon of alliances" in the Middle East. This proposed six-point alliance would include India, Arab nations, African countries, Mediterranean states (Greece and Cyprus), and other Asian nations. According to Netanyahu, the purpose of this alliance is to counter two "extremist axes": the Shia extremist axis, comprising Iran and its regional proxies, and the Sunni extremist axis, in which he explicitly named Turkey and Pakistan. Following this declaration, Narendra Modi undertook an official visit to Israel on February 25, during which agreements were finalized for joint production of defense equipment and collaboration in high-tech sectors, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. This makes it unequivocally clear which nation stands next on the target list after Iran.

Meanwhile, a fierce conflict rages between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan has launched air and ground operations inside Afghanistan under the name "Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq," with the Pakistan Air Force striking Afghan military installations in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia. According to Pakistani security sources, the operation has eliminated 133 terrorists and injured over 200, while multiple Afghan Taliban posts have been destroyed. Conversely, the spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Defense reports that the Afghan Air Force has retaliated by targeting a military camp near Faisalabad in Islamabad, the army cantonment in Nowshera, the Jamrud military colony, and Pakistani military installations in Abbottabad. Afghan claims indicate that 55 Pakistani soldiers have been killed, and two military bases and 19 posts have been destroyed or captured. The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has confirmed that Pakistani airstrikes resulted in the martyrdom of 13 members of a single family in Nangarhar, with women and children also killed in Paktika and Nangarhar.

The most lamentable aspect of this entire situation, however, is the silence of the international community. According to reports from TOLOnews and Amu TV, the sole nation to condemn these attacks is India, which characterized them as an attempt by Pakistan to externalize its internal failures. Russia, China, Central Asian states, and other global powers have issued no formal statements. The 57 member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) remain silent. Iran has adopted a cautious approach, appealing for restraint and offering mediation. Zalmay Khalilzad, former US Special Representative for Afghanistan, has demanded that the OIC and the international community condemn Pakistan's violation of Afghanistan's sovereignty. Amnesty International has called for an independent investigation into civilian casualties. China has now expressed "deep concern" and offered mediation; Russia has demanded an immediate cessation of cross-border attacks and resolution through diplomacy; and UN Secretary-General António Guterres is closely monitoring the situation. But all of this amounts to mere "concern" and "appeal," not condemnation.

When the Russia-Ukraine war erupted, Western media provided round-the-clock coverage, sanctions were imposed, and weapons were dispatched. When the Palestine-Israel conflict escalated, resolutions were tabled at the United Nations. When Iran was attacked, global powers mobilized instantly. Yet when Pakistan and Afghanistan—two Muslim, two neighboring, two brotherly Islamic nations—are locked in combat, there is no condemnation, no sanctions, no Nobel Prize offers, only silence. This silence itself is an admission that the ultimate objective of the Western world is to keep Muslims fighting amongst themselves.

And amidst all this, what was Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif doing? He was nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. At the Gaza summit, Shehbaz Sharif declared Trump "great" and asserted that he was the man "this world needed the most at this time." This is the same Trump who led the assault on Iran, confirmed the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, and called upon the Iranian people to overthrow their government. Renowned journalist Hamid Mir has revealed that Shehbaz Sharif and the "favorite Field Marshal" nominated Trump for the Nobel twice, yet the reward for this "romance" came in the form of US visa restrictions. Pakistan remains on the "high-risk" countries list while India is exempt.

Five new dimensions of threat have emerged for Pakistan. First, a two-front war on the western border: Pakistan is simultaneously engaged in direct conflict with Afghanistan and facing the destabilization of Iran, which will directly impact Balochistan. Second, Israel's expanding role: Netanyahu's Hexagon alliance is directly targeting Pakistan, with India, Greece, Cyprus, and Arab nations included, meaning Pakistan is being strategically encircled. Third, the India-Israel defense pact, which includes the joint production of advanced weaponry. Fourth, global silence, which is an acknowledgment in itself. And fifth, the silence of the OIC; the organization of 57 Muslim nations remains mute, and despite Zalmay Khalilzad's demand for condemnation, there has been no response.

The Balochistan issue has become even more critical. Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan province shares a 900-kilometer highly sensitive border with Pakistani Balochistan. If regime change occurs in Iran, separatist organizations like the BLA will gain strength, the border will become completely porous, and the Gwadar port and CPEC projects will face severe threats. Economic catastrophe is also inevitable. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz has sent oil prices skyrocketing; Pakistan cannot absorb the increase in crude oil prices. Inflation will surge further, the rupee will collapse, and the IMF program will be jeopardized. A tidal wave of refugees is also imminent; if instability in Iran escalates, millions of refugees may pour into Pakistan. Strategic encirclement is nearly complete: Pakistan is already locked in tension with Afghanistan, and if Iran is destabilized, Pakistan will be completely surrounded. And most critically, the sectarian volcano could erupt. The Shia-Sunni weapon, the enemy's most potent tool, is primed to detonate. Even today, some so-called Muslims are celebrating the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, despite the fact that he served as a bulwark. The collapse of Iran's wall means the eruption of sectarian strife within Pakistan.

This is precisely what you foretold: that this war would reach Pakistan, and it surely would. You were absolutely correct. The war has arrived. When regime change occurs in Iran, when millions of refugees cross the border, when illegal arms trafficking surges, when militant groups find new sanctuaries, then Pakistan will realize that the enemy has entered its home. If not us, then our coming generations will witness it.

Gaza was a test case, and we failed. Muslim nations possess no "oil"; each country is entangled in its own interests. Some have granted bases to America, some aspire to give Trump a Nobel Prize, and some have no connection to the Palestinian cause whatsoever. When Iran was attacked today, which Muslim country took practical action? Zero. And when Pakistan and Afghanistan fight each other, there is no one to condemn.

The solution was one yesterday, and it remains one today: the unity of the Ummah. Otherwise, everyone is finished. How many more brothers and sisters must be slaughtered before this unity is achieved—that is for you to contemplate. But ultimately, unity must be established. Insha'Allah. As Allama Iqbal said:

بتانِ رنگ و خوں کو توڑ کر ملت میں گم ہو جا
نہ تُورانی رہے باقی، نہ ایرانی، نہ افغانی

Today, we must decide. Are we Iranians? Afghans? Pakistanis? Or are we Muslims? When the enemy is one, the conspiracy is one, the target is one, then the ranks must also be one. May Allah protect Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah! Ameen.

پاکستان بھارت کی رقابت ختم! آئی سی سی مزید نہیں بیچ سکتا؟

کسی کے لیے سب سے زیادہ تکلیف دہ یہ ہوتا ہے جب اسے کوئی نظر انداز کریں۔ کچھ نہ سمجھیں۔ بھارت نے میچ جیتا، مگر کوئی جشن منانے کی ضرورت محسوس نہیں کی، اور کیوں؟ کیونکہ انہیں پہلے ہی معلوم تھا کہ ہم جیتیں گے۔ ان کے لیے کوئی نئی بات نہیں کہ پاکستان کو شکست دی، یہ بہت بڑی مایوسی ہے۔ آئی سی سی کو بھی اب فکر کرنی چاہیے، کیونکہ جس میچ سے وہ اپنا سارا پیسہ کماتے ہیں،جس مقابلے کو بیچتے ہیں وہ ختم ہو گیا ہے۔ یہ میچ بھارت کی یکطرفہ فتح میں ختم ہو رہا ہے۔ اب بھارتی اور پاکستانی شائقین دونوں دلچسپی کھو رہے ہیں۔ اس بار جنگ اور بائیکاٹ کی وجہ سے لوگوں نے دلچسپی لی ورنہ سب کو پتہ تھا ۔دل ٹوٹا نہیں، ٹوٹنا بھی نہیں چاہیے، یہ نتیجہ پہلے سے ہی متوقع تھا۔

آج کی رات شور کی نہیں، سکون کی رات ہے۔
لفظوں کی نہیں، آنکھوں کی نمی کی رات ہے۔

یہ سب آج کی رات کے مہمان ہیں۔

شبِ برات ہمیں یہ سکھاتی ہے کہ
اگر لوگ چھوڑ دیں تو کیا ہوا،
اللہ کا دروازہ آج بھی کھلا ہے۔

بس ایک سچی آہ،
ایک جھکی ہوئی پیشانی،
اور ایک ٹوٹا ہوا دل…
اللہ کے لیے کافی ہے۔

دوسری طرف، جب ریڈیو پاکستان کی نیوز کاسٹر عشرت فاطمہ ریٹائر ہوئیں تو ایسا شور برپا ہوا کہ جیسے کوئی عظیم ناانصافی ہو گئی ہو۔ ان کی شکایت پر وفاقی وزیرِ اطلاعات نے انہیں تاحیات ملازمت عطا کر دی۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ جب قانون ایک ہے تو اس کا اطلاق سب پر کیوں نہیں؟
نور محمد خاصخیلی جیسے کئی ریٹائرڈ ملازمین آج مہنگائی کے اس کڑے دور میں خاموشی سے مشکلات جھیل رہے ہیں۔ اگر انصاف یوں امتیازی ہو تو پھر ایسے سوالات اٹھیں گے، اور ایسے چہرے سامنے آئیں گے جو حق کے باوجود نظر انداز کر دیے گئے۔
قوانین اشخاص کے لیے نہیں، اصولوں کے لیے ہوتے ہیں۔ اگر اہل لوگوں کو صرف شور مچانے کی بنیاد پر رعایت ملے اور باصلاحیت، خاموش خدمت گزاروں کو نظرانداز کیا جائے تو ادارے کمزور ہو جاتے ہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ بعض اوقات قابل لوگ بھی غلطیاں کر کے نوکری سے چمٹے رہنے پر مجبور ہو جاتے ہیں۔
ریڈیو پاکستان ہمارا قومی ادارہ ہے—اس کی عزت انصاف، برابری اور میرٹ سے ہی قائم رہ سکتی ہے۔

سرفراز احمدکاشاندار ریکارڈبھار ت کیخلاف تین فائنل جیتنے والے پہلے کھلاڑی

قومی کرکٹ ٹیم کے سابق کپتان سرفراز احمد نے پہلے بطور کھلاڑی اور اب بطور مینٹور اور مینیجر بھارت کے خلاف کرکٹ فائنلز میں اپنی کامیابیوں کا تسلسل برقرار رکھا ہے۔

یہ کامیابیاں سرفراز احمد کے شاندار کرکٹ کیریئر اور قیادت کی صلاحیتوں کا واضح ثبوت ہیں، جو ہر دور میں پاکستان کرکٹ کے لیے کامیابی کی ضمانت بنتی رہی ہیں۔

ہاتھ میں ماسٹرز کی ڈگری ہے مگر ایک پروفیشنل ای میل لکھنی نہیں آتی۔ ہمارے تعلیمی نظام نے صرف "نوکر" پیدا کیے ہیں، ہنر مند نہیں۔ ڈگری کو قابلیت سمجھنا سب سے بڑی بیوقوفی ہے، کیونکہ مارکیٹ ڈگری کو نہیں، "سکل" (Skill) کو پیسے دیتی ہے۔

اپنی بدحالی کا ملبہ حکومت یا تقدیر پر ڈالنا بند کریں، کیونکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ کی جیب خالی نہیں بلکہ آپ کا دماغ بنجر ہے۔ جب تک آپ اپنی ”جھوٹی انا“ اور ”سستی“ کا جنازہ نہیں نکالیں گے، غربت آپ کی نسلوں کو اسی طرح چاٹتی رہے گی۔
