Our indoor arena is absolutely freezing in the winter 😂, but that means it is super cool and the absolute perfect place to ride right now! Escape the sun and come join us. 😎🐴
⚠️ A quick but important safety reminder for clothes tonight:
No shorts or dresses (legs must be covered).
No crop tops or sleeveless tops (please wear a t-shirt so the tops of arms are covered).
No trainers or sandals (don't worry if you don't have boots, we have riding boots you can borrow!).

🚨 WE NEED YOU! SUNDAY VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED 🚨
Park Palace Ponies is looking for regular volunteers to join our amazing team on Sundays!
If you love working with ponies and want to make a real difference in our community, we would love to hear from you.
🐴 Who are we looking for?
Age: Teenagers (12+) or adults.
DBS Check: Ideally, adults who already hold an advanced DBS check. (We can process a DBS for you, but please note there is currently an 8-week wait!)
Experience: We specifically need experienced volunteers who are confident leading ponies in lessons.
⏰ Time Commitments
We are flexible! You can either:
Come down and lead for 1 to 2 hours.
Stay for a half or full day to help care for the ponies, too!

If you can commit to a full day of volunteering—and you meet our rider weight criteria—you will receive a free ride as a huge thank you from us!

A massive THANK YOU to the amazing team from Barclays Bank! 🙌🐴
Last week, we welcomed them for their second volunteer day at Park Palace Ponies, and they absolutely smashed it. They worked incredibly hard and got so much done around the school!
Here’s what they got up to:
🌱 De-weeded the yard and paddock
🌻 Transformed our flower beds with fresh topsoil and painted the planter edges
🎨 Painted the stables and the tack room
🛠️ Started work on our new SEN seating area
💩 Even rolled their sleeves up to do some mucking out!
To top it all off, Barclays very kindly donated all the materials we used on the day. 💙
We are so incredibly grateful and really looking forward to seeing this partnership continue to grow. We already can't wait to welcome them back for our 3rd volunteer day in July!

🐴 Exciting News from Park Palace Ponies! 🐴
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that thanks to new lottery funding, we are launching a fantastic year of subsidised activities starting this July! We want to make sure our local community has every opportunity to spend time with our amazing ponies.
Here is what is coming up:
🐎 4-Week Riding Courses
Every month, we are offering 8 riders the chance to join a 4-week course of riding lessons.
To qualify, you must:
Be from a low-income family.
Be aged 5–16 years old.
Live in the L8 area.
Weigh under 8 stone (due to the size of our ponies).
🧤 Grooming & Pocket Money Sessions
We are also introducing 12 sessions a week where you can join us for hands-on grooming sessions! These sessions are just £2 to attend.
To qualify, you must:
Be from a low-income family.
Be aged 5–16 years old.
Live in the L8 area.
🗓️ Come Visit Us!
Want to see what we’re all about? We are hosting our first Open Stable Day—a monthly community drop-in event!
When: Sunday, 12th July
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

🏙️🐴 OUT AND ABOUT IN THE DI**LE! 🐴🏙️
Some of our Loan a Pony riders swapped the arena for the streets today! They took the ponies out for a great hack around the Di**le, making the absolute most of the nice weather. ☀️
We love being an inner-city riding school, and there’s nothing quite like getting outside the arena walls and hitting the local roads. It’s always brilliant to get the ponies out into the community, put some smiles on our neighbors' faces, and soak up some sunshine!
The riders did fantastic and the ponies took the city sights completely in their stride. 😎

🐴✨ PONIES ON TOUR! ✨🐴
Our gorgeous Moses and Millie had a brilliant time out and about in the community yesterday!
First, they trotted through the local streets to make a very special appearance at a local girl’s birthday party (we hope you had the best day! 🎉🎂). Then, it was over to the John Archer Hall for a fantastic community event, where it was lovely to meet local councillor Rahima Farah!
The fun doesn't stop there, though! See you all today at our craft fair from 1pm - 4pm! Come along, join in the fun, and say hello. 🎨🛍️
We love getting our herd out and about to meet you all. Huge thanks to everyone who came over to say hello yesterday and gave our pair a pat!
