☀️ Hot Weather Update (Next 3 Days)

Hi everyone! With temperatures soaring over the next three days, we want to make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

Here are a few important updates regarding our sessions this week:

Staying Safe: The government has issued hot weather guidance with tips on beating the heat. We've put the link in our bio.

Your Attendance: We completely understand that the heat affects everyone differently. If you don't feel up to attending your session this week, that is completely fine! Please just let us know in advance if you aren't planning to come.

Possible Cancellations: The heat affects our tutors too! While we will do our absolute best to keep everything running, we may have to cancel some sessions at short notice if a tutor is unable to make it. We'll keep you posted as early as possible.

If You Do Come In: If you can make it, a quick reminder that our building has air conditioning to keep you cool, and we have unlimited free drinking water available. Bring a water bottle and keep hydrated!

Stay safe and stay cool! 😎

📅 This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 (11–17 May). At Raw Material, we believe that the most powerful actions for our wellbeing are often the ones we take together.

🎨 The connection between creativity and mental wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s writing a lyric, finding a beat, or sharing a canvas, these aren't just hobbies—they are active routes to self-improvement.

🌱 Our creative-health programmes prove that taking the step to create, share a space, and interact socially can fundamentally shift our experience of mental health. This week, we encourage you to take one small creative action for yourself or someone else.

💗 Here are some of the words that our participants use to describe our programmes: Affirming, Grateful, Rejuvenation, Energising.

🤝 In times of struggle, remember that you don't have to navigate the path alone. Awareness means knowing when to reach out and where to turn.

🔗 We’re sharing below a curated a list of verified support services for those living in and around Lambeth. Every conversation started and every resource shared is a vital step toward making sure we are there for each other when it matters most.
