A peak into GCSE Art - always a joy to be introduced to some of the extraordinary art on the 4th floor.
‘The artist has a special relationship to beauty… it can be said that beauty is the calling bestowed on her by the Creator…’

Much of PSE and form time today has been spent reflecting and praying for Queen Elizabeth and her family. She was a faithful Christian who lived in hopeful anticipation of the Kingdom of Heaven…
“I know just how much I rely on my own faith to guide me through the good times and the bad. Each day is a new beginning, I know that the only way to live my life is to try to do what is right, to take the long view, to give of my best in all that the day brings, and to put my trust in God. Like others of you who draw inspiration from your own faith, I draw strength from the message of hope in the Christian gospel." QE2
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace. Amen.

To help with the transition from primary school, here at ND 'little sisters' (Y7s) get paired with 'big sisters' (Y11s). It’s always beautiful to see how the care of our more senior students helps to calm the first-week nerves of our youngest students. Through the year they'll have regular check-ins.
