International Day 2026 🌍👏

What a wonderful day we’ve had at King’s House today celebrating our annual International Day! We had over 40 King’s House families hosting stalls representing countries from around the world for the children to explore. The stalls were filled with games, traditional food, quizzes, artwork, and goodies for children across the school to enjoy. It was such a special way to celebrate our diverse community and for the children to learn more about different countries and cultures from around the world 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who helped on the day, and to the Friends of King’s House for organising such a special event! 🌟

What a beautiful day it was yesterday for our Early Years classes at Forest School at 🦋

Our Forest School site, ‘The Nest’, is in full bloom after the lovely spring sunshine over the past few weeks. Alongside the usual fun of bug hunting, mud kitchens and outdoor arts and crafts, the children enjoyed planting wildflowers which we look forward to watch grow over the next few weeks 🌱🌼✨

What an unforgettable tour of the US for some of our Year 7 and 8 students! 🧳✈️🇺🇸

We kicked things off by exploring iconic monuments in Washington DC and soaking up the atmosphere at a Baltimore baseball match before heading to Philadelphia to conquer the Museum of Art’s ‘Rocky Steps.’

The competitive spirit was high as we took on local clubs in football in Washington DC and Philadelphia, and a massive congratulations goes to our 1st Team for securing an amazing victory in Philly! 🏆

We wrapped up our adventure in New York City, taking in the views from the Empire State Building, visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and standing on the stage at Madison Square Garden🗽

Between the high-stakes fixtures and the magic of a Broadway show, our students represented the school with incredible energy and enthusiasm! 👏

It’s been a busy end of term at King’s House, filled with Easter fun, Spring Concerts and more! 🐰🌟

The Friends of King’s House hosted Easter egg hunts for children in the Nursery, Juniors, and Seniors to enjoy, and treated them to some lovely chocolate surprises — thank you very much! 🐣🍫

We’ve had Spring Concerts across all departments, from our youngest learners in the Hedgehog Class all the way through to our Seniors, which parents and teachers very much enjoyed 🌼🎶
