Super Dad Tea Party 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️— what a fantastic time we had! From discovering Ice Age dinosaurs 🦖to crafting crowns👑 with our little ones, every moment was filled with fun and laughter. The highlight was decorating (and enjoying!) the delicious cookies 🍪made by the children. A truly special day of creativity, bonding, and unforgettable memories.

Walton Montessori Celebrated Sir David Attenborough 100th birthday which has provided a powerful gateway for the children to connect with the natural world and develop lifelong values of stewardship and curiosity

Inset day training took place yesterday. A wealth of valuable knowledge was gained, covering topics such as safer sleep practices from the Lullaby Trust, safeguarding, and updates to the curriculum.

Exciting news!

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our pet giant African land snails. 🐌

Over the next few months, the children will have the opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures and observe their growth.

World Earth Day 🌎is an excellent opportunity for nurturing curiosity. Walton Montessori Early Years educators took the occasion to inspire children to explore nature by observing insects🐜🪳🦋🦟, studying plants, 🌿🪴and splashing in water.💧💦 This engagement fosters a greater appreciation for the natural world.🌎

Walton Montessori have had a wonderful Exploration Week focused on farm animalsafter lots of children had been to farms over Easter. The children were excited to learn about what we get from farm animals, such as eggs, milk. One of the highlights was a fun, hands-on activity where the children enjoyed milking a pretend cow, sparking lots of laughter and curiosity.

Walton Montessori have visitors caterpillars 🐛🐛 learning about life cycle first hand. This allows us to see how caterpillars 🐛grow up to 100 times their size, create a chrysalis, and finally, get to witness the emerging butterfly🦋🦋, which we will then release into the wild.
