Thank you to everyone that attended the Travel The World Fun Day!

We all had so much fun and absolutely loved seeing all the happy faces!

We raised a total of....£210.70!

This means so much to us and we cannot wait to put this to good use.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness for our Race Education programs that we will be running in different schools throughout South East London this coming school term. All proceeding will go towards providing materials and resources for the programs.

To find out more about the program, please see this link:

Happy 60th Year of Independence to Jamaica.

Every year on August 6, (previously first Monday in August), Jamaicans celebrate the removal of our dependence on Britain, to control specific functions of the country. At this time we also honour those persons who were responsible for the transfer of power.

~~~~~~
Marcus Garvey was born in St Ann's Bay, Jamaica on 17 August 1887. At the age of 14 he left school and became a printer's apprentice where he led a strike for higher wages. He was one of the first most inspirational activists in Jamaica.
He laid the pathway for so many incredible changes and he also showed people that you need to stand up for what you believe in.
Check the next post for a message to all young people, everywhere.
