🌟 That’s a wrap on yesterday’s CCL Business Summit in Manchester – and what a day it was!

📍 Hosted at , we brought together Corndel College London learners from across the country for a packed day of purpose, challenge and leadership in action.

💡 In the morning, encouraged learners to reflect on what drives them, and how purpose can guide clearer decisions, stronger leadership and more meaningful impact. Through interactive table discussions, learners explored how to connect personal values to organisational goals.

🧠 In the afternoon, led an engaging session on Leadership Across Generations. He explored how different experiences shape the way we lead and work, and introduced the 3 Es of Leadership: Expectation, Engagement and Empowerment. Learners reflected on how aligning these to individual strengths can unlock performance across teams.

What made the day special wasn’t just the speakers – it was the openness, energy and insight brought by every learner in the room.

🙌 Yesterday, we brought together our Corndel College London learners at for a packed day of purpose, insight and real-world leadership development.

🚀 From the moment our keynote speaker Sarah Rozenthuler took to the stage, we knew this would be a day to remember. Sarah’s message: “The world needs people who have come alive”, and our learners showed up with energy, reflection and ambition.

From there, the day moved into interactive sessions designed to support real-world leadership:
🔍 Finding Your Purpose – a guided session connecting personal values to leadership goals
🤖 Breakouts on Human Intelligence in an AI World and Sustainability in Action
🌍 Workshops exploring Sustainability in Action
💬 The Game Changers Ideas Exchange – peer-led insights across breakout themes 
📝 A closing commitment wall, where learners captured what purpose-led leadership means to them

📣 Thank you to our keynote speaker, facilitators, and every one of you who made the day what it was. We ended with networking drinks on the lawn and a strong sense of connection.

🚀 Celebrating One Year of Corndel College London!

🌟 As we mark the anniversary of launching the first cohort of Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship 12 months ago, we reflect on a year of growth, learning, and achievement.

🎓 The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship is a powerful blend of on-the-job experience, academic learning, structured mentorship, and industry-recognised qualifications upon completion. This programme is built to propel graduates into leadership roles within the fast-paced world of business and is a blueprint for the future of early talent development.

🎓 We are proud to have successfully supported our first cohort of learners from Level 4 to Level 5, achieving industry-leading retention rates and receiving excellent feedback from our participants. This success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our learners, clients, and the Corndel team who are revolutionising how we train early careers talent in the UK.

🌟 Congratulations on reaching this milestone. We wish you all the best as you continue your degree apprenticeship!

On Thursday 13 July we were joined by several of our degree apprentices for our first in-person community event. This follows the launch of our Chartered Manager degree apprenticeship programme on 21 June.

It was a joyous occasion, celebrating the start of the degree journey for our learners, whilst allowing them to network and make connections with their peers from a range of industries and organisations.

It was also a great opportunity for the Corndel College London (CCL) and Corndel team to gain invaluable feedback from our pioneering degree apprentices. It was clear from the many conversations taking place that learners were being able to apply their learning with immediate impact in their roles after only a few weeks on the programme!
