This week, we are heading into the classroom at School 21 to help the Year 4 students create their very own operas.

We can’t wait to hear the brilliant ideas from these budding opera directors, designers, composers, librettists - and maybe even the next generation of opera singers and musicians.

Students will also enjoy live performances of arias and ensembles from beloved operas including:

Enchanting Arias is a fun, interactive lunchtime concert, presented by Royal Albert Hall in collaboration with OperaEd on August 27th 🎉

Featuring singers Susie Gibbons - Soprano, Helen Maree Cooper - Mezzo Soprano, Zahid Siddiqui, Oskar McCarthy and pianist Ashley Beauchamp

Opera for Kids - Enchanting Arias | Royal Albert Hall Opera for Kids provides the perfect setting for little ears and families to enjoy an operatic performance in a relaxed environment.

OUR WORKSHOP 💥

Our new workshop is a 30 minute series of fun games, exercises and activities.

Our workshop introduces the themes, characters and story of Engelbert Humperdinck’s opera ‘Hansel and Gretel’ through:

• Warm-up and Wellbeing
• Music and Movement
• Dance and Physical Theatre
• Reflection, including opportunities for the students to ask our artists questions.
