Did you know I have colouring books for yarn lovers? ๐Ÿ’š

I've got two - one for crocheters, one for knitters. Yesterday I showed you the crochet edition, today it's the knitters' turn!
This A5 colouring book features 8 witty, knitting-themed illustrations that'll make any yarn lover smile. Whether you're the cable queen, a dedicated yarn guardian, or someone who knits to stay sane, there's a page in here made for you.
Bold, detailed designs on dark backing pages, so your colours really pop. Works beautifully with pencils and markers (pop a sheet between pages if you're using alcohol markers).
Perfect for unwinding after a long day of stitches, or framing your favourite finished page!

How to crochet a Union Jack brooch ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Meet my crochet Union Jack brooch - a British flag you can pin to a jacket, bag or coat.
It's worked in tapestry crochet for the flag, with a brooch pin on the back and a piece of plastic canvas inside to keep it sturdy. I've filmed a full video tutorial that walks you through every step of the assembly.
I designed this one for my British citizenship ceremony, so it's a pattern that's close to my heart - and now it's completely FREE for you to make your own.
The full free pattern and video tutorial are waiting for you on the blog - link below ๐Ÿ’š

A new lesson has just landed in the Granny Squares course!

The solid granny square is the dense, no-gaps version of the classic granny square - smooth, sturdy and beginner-friendly. It's lovely on its own as a coaster, and it's the perfect building block for blankets, bags and bigger projects.
In this new class I walk you through each round step by step, including how to change colour as you go or keep it all in one shade.

You asked, so here it is! ๐Ÿ’š

After my YouTube video on the invisible join for granny squares, so many of you asked the same thing: how do I tie and secure that end so it actually stays put? So I filmed a little follow-up just for that.
This is the neat, secure finish that keeps your invisible join looking seamless - no lumps, no unravelling, no stress.
Want the link to the original full video? Just comment โ€œโ€invisibleโ€โ€ below and Iโ€™ll send it your way.
Save this one for your next granny square project, and let me know in the comments if it helped!

You only need 3 stitches to start embroidery. Here they are. ๐Ÿงต
If youโ€™ve ever wanted to try embroidery but didnโ€™t know where to begin - this is your starting point.
Swipe through to learn the only three stitches you need as a beginner:
1. Running stitch - the most basic stitch, perfect for outlines and simple patterns.
2. Backstitch - strong, clean lines. Your go-to for lettering and detailed outlines.
3. Satin stitch - fills in shapes smoothly and gives that beautiful, polished finish.
Master these three and you can make almost anything ๐Ÿ’š
