On 25th February 2026 we welcomed back a very familiar face. Dr Hussain Rashid , a proud member of our Class of 1998, returned to lead an inspiring assembly on the BrightBites programme! Dr Rashid , now a leading dentist at Crescent Lodge Dental Practice in Clapham, shared his expert tips on keeping "Healthy Teeth for Life." From demonstrating the hidden sugars in snacks to the best brushing techniques, our students were captivated by his interactive session. But that’s not all—we are officially welcoming Hussain back into the fold as the newest member of our Alumni Community! It was incredible for our current students to see exactly where a journey starting in these very classrooms can lead.

Our Year 5s have been busy as bees in the run-up to half term! As part of their DT project, the children swapped their pens for pins and took on the challenge of making their very own baseball caps.
From mastering basic sewing practice to carefully stitching together six tricky panels, it has been wonderful to see their creativity and persistence shine. Making a cap is a brilliant goal for new sewists, and our pupils are well on their way to becoming young designers!.
We are so proud of the focus and fine motor skills they’ve shown.
Check out some of our "busy bees" in action below! 👇

Our budding dentists have been busy exploring the wonders of dental hygiene and human anatomy. Last week, we took our learning to the next level by sculpting 3D tooth models using clay! 🎨🙌
From sharp incisors to mighty molars, the children identified the different types of teeth and their specific jobs in our mouths. We even discussed the importance of the enamel and how to keep our pearly whites healthy.
Take a look at these incredible creations! We definitely have some future dental surgeons in the making. 🦷✨

❤️ Pumping with Creativity! ❤️
Our pupils have been busy over the break, taking a "deep dive" into the human heart! 🫀 We are so impressed by these incredible 2D and 3D models brought in today!
From intricate clay sculptures and recycled cardboard structures to detailed biological diagrams, our young scientists have shown a fantastic understanding of chambers, valves, and blood flow. 💉🩸
It’s wonderful to see such "heartfelt" effort put into their learning! Which model is your favorite? Let us know in the comments! 👇
