We are launching a student-led campaign to collectively send an official complaint to Loughborough Students' Union since their follow-up response has been unacceptable. The Union decided to delete the initial social media post launching The Men's Project and followed up with a statement that did not address any of our concerns. We also find their approach to using 'open forums' as a tick-box exercise to claim they listened to us but in reality, change nothing.

There are genuine fears around safeguarding but our concerns were not explicitly addressed. This is unacceptable to us in the current climate of far right fascist attacks on Muslim, refugee, migrant and racially minoritised communities.

As representatives of the London campus, we are concerned about our voices and needs not being met on our terms. Student representation has been significantly decreased over the years which has further repercussions for our campus that is physically distant from LSU.

We urge students to send in an official complaint. You can find a suggested template in the link in our bio.

You can also check out our 'Advocacy' stories highlight for more details.

London students, staff and alumni, we ask you to join direct student action by protesting with us to demand Loughborough University to end its complicity with Israeli apartheid.

Loughborough University works with companies like Caterpillar who uproots olive trees in occupied Palestine and Rolls Royce who supplies F-15 fighter jet components to Israeli Occupation Forces to name a few.

International students, we encourage you to wear a mask to conceal your identity and avoid government surveillance.

Do not engage with any counter protestors.

Bring others with you!

Date: 13th May (Monday)
Time: 10am
Location: outside London campus

Teach in, come learn about the Palestine cause and Loughborough's complicity:

Time: 4pm
