Last week, our Year 7 Bertha Earth Ambassadors spent the day at Global Generation’s Paper Garden, exploring sustainability and urban nature. It was a brilliant hands-on experience for our young leaders.

CFGS at the House of Lords

Our Year 10 and Year 12 students recently visited the House of Lords to present their ideas to the Tower Hamlets Women’s Commission, joining students from Swanlea School.

They shared thoughtful and inspiring recommendations on how to better support and empower young women and girls in our borough, touching on health, safety, employment and leadership.

We’re incredibly proud of their confidence, maturity and commitment to creating positive change.

Jamaica Day at CFGS!

We recently came together as a school community to celebrate the vibrancy of Jamaican culture and the beauty of Patois as part of our ongoing Languages & Cultures series. The event brought students and staff together in a joyful lunchtime celebration filled with colour, music, and cultural pride.

A huge thank you to the staff who planned and facilitated the event — your energy and enthusiasm truly brought the day to life.

Last week, we were proud to premier our student’s new film with The Catalyst Programme featuring our student representative, Marifa, as she takes us through the rich culture and community spirit of East London. The film also celebrates inspiring women in our community — including “Her Story” and Razna Begum — whose stories of resilience and leadership continue to shape and strengthen the world around us.

Excellent facilities, a brand-new Sixth Form building, and a rooftop terrace makeover are on the way!
