Hey everyone!
Have you noticed any changes in the US school education system lately? As we approach the middle of 2023, we’ve been noticing some interesting trends that are shaping the way teachers educate students.
One trend that we are excited about is the increased focus on social-emotional learning (SEL). It's becoming more and more recognized that academic success isn't the only important factor in a student's education. SEL programs and initiatives are being implemented to help students develop crucial life skills like self-awareness, empathy, and decision-making.
Another trend is the adoption of personalized learning, which allows teachers to customize instruction to meet the unique needs of individual students.
With advancements in technology, schools are able to use tools like adaptive software and online resources to implement personalized learning, which can help students progress at their own pace and gain a deeper understanding of concepts.
We are at SubSchool work on this already and you as a teacher can join our platform and test online course creation for free.
In addition, there is a growing push to incorporate more career and technical education (CTE) into the curriculum. Schools are partnering with local businesses and organizations to offer hands-on training and real-world experiences that prepare students for the workforce and make education more relevant and engaging.
Lastly, equity and inclusion are becoming more of a priority in schools across the country. There is a recognition that creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students is crucial for success. Schools are taking steps to address issues of bias and discrimination, offering culturally responsive instruction, and hiring more diverse staff.
We are exciting to see these trends emerge and develop in the education system. As we continue to innovate and provide the best solutions for teachers to make their work better.
What trends have you noticed in US school education? Let's keep the conversation going in the comments below!

How can school teachers manage their workload?
Being a school teacher can be overwhelming with the daily tasks of planning lessons, grading assignments, and interacting with students. It's crucial to adopt strategies to reduce stress and achieve a work-life balance.
Here are some suggestions for school teachers to manage their routine:
1) Utilize technology: Many teachers already utilize technology in the classroom, but it can also help with time management outside of the classroom. IT tools such as scheduling apps, digital note-taking, and online grade books can streamline tasks and free up time. Using online education platforms also can help optimize teaching hours. At SubSchool a teacher doesn't need to check homework or grade students, AI can substitute these functions.
2) Develop a routine: Establishing a routine can help you manage your time effectively and boost productivity. Prioritize important tasks and try to stick to your schedule as much as possible. This will help you focus and stay on track.
3) Set boundaries: It's crucial to set clear boundaries between work and personal time. Designate specific times for work and breaks to avoid burnout and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
4) Practice self-care: Taking care of yourself is crucial for both physical and mental health. Make time for activities you enjoy, like exercise, reading, or spending time with family and friends.
By following these tips, school teachers can manage their routine and maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. Remember, taking care of yourself is essential to be the best teacher for your students.
Developing our online teaching platform we would like to take care of teachers as well as improve quality of education.

STEM education trends in 2023
STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) is becoming increasingly important in today's world, and schools and teachers are paying attention to it. There are several exciting trends in STEM education in 2023 that are worth mentioning.
1) Integration of technology: with the continued advancement of technology, schools are finding new ways to integrate technology into the classroom. From coding classes to virtual and augmented reality, technology is being used to enhance the STEM education experience for students. This trend is expected to continue and grow in 2023, as teachers and schools look for innovative ways to engage students and prepare them for the future.
2) Focus on hands-on learning: STEM education is best learned through hands-on experience, and schools are starting to understand this. In 2023, we expect to see more schools and teachers focusing on hands-on learning opportunities for students, such as STEM clubs, robotics teams, and maker spaces.
3) Collaboration between schools and industry: To better prepare students for careers in STEM fields, schools are starting to work more closely with local industry and businesses. This collaboration allows students to learn from industry professionals and see first-hand what a career in STEM might look like. This trend is expected to continue and grow in 2023, as schools work to better prepare their students for the future.
4) Increased emphasis on STEAM: While STEM education has been a focus for several years, in 2023 we expect to see an increased emphasis on STEAM education, which adds Arts to the mix. STEAM education recognizes the importance of creativity and innovation in STEM fields, and provides students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for the future.
5) Personalized learning: In 2023, we expect to see a continued emphasis on personalized learning in STEM education. This trend is driven by the recognition that every student is unique and has different learning styles and needs. Personalized learning allows teachers to tailor their lessons to each student, providing a more effective and engaging educational experience.
In conclusion, 2023 promises to be an exciting year for STEM education, with many exciting trends and developments on the horizon.
We at SubSchool also want to contribute to the development of STEM education, as we see great potential in this field and teachers who integrate technology into teaching have a huge influence on students in this area, setting an example of importance of using new technologies.
If you are one of those teachers who is ready to automate your routine and try new technologies, especially AI, then we invite you to test our platform.

Earlier we mentioned that we are integrating AI into Subschool to make the work of teachers easier and reduce their time spent on checking homework.
As a teacher you can imagine how much time is spent checking students’ homework and grading assignments. With the help of artificial intelligence (AI), you will no longer need to check a bunch of your students' notebooks, trying to recognize which of the tasks the student has done the work.
So, how exactly will AI check homework and automatize teachers’ work?
We have created a neural network for recognizing handwritten characters and formulas, specialized for students’ decisions. For example, all solutions to mathematical equations will be checked by the AI.
Now we are working on improving the accuracy of character recognition from photos and expanding the data set.
Next, we will introduce automatic criteria checking of handwritten answers, which will make their verification as easy as the test verification.
Very soon you will be able to test our platform and we will be glad if you pre-register on our website: https://subschool.us/
