A busy term so far with lots of fixtures happening in both rugby and hockey!
A few snaps from the hockey side, so far we have played against St Phillips, Broomwood Hall, Dulwich College and Fulham.
A mixture of wins and losses but the most important thing is that every student has been able to have a go at getting involved in a match!

This week in community we had an amazing neurodiversity celebration to understand that our brains are all wired differently and to celebrate our individual skills and talents 🎉
We had a carousel of activities from staff and students sharing their own personal experiences of neurodiversity. The different sessions covered ADHD, dyslexia, Autism, Girls & neurodiversity, mental health and ableism
Such an insightful and inspiring way to strengthen our school community and help us with our understanding and empathy towards each other 🙌

We can't wait for tonight's Film Premiere of Year 7's 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens 📽
Incredible talent on show with our Drama scholars taking centre stage as well as our Art & Design scholar displaying his fantastic prop-making skills.
We offer scholarshps in Art, Design, Sport, Drama and Music as well as Academic and All-Rounder scholarships.
Huge thank you Lemonwedge Film, who run one of our very popular after-school clubs, for lending their equipment to support this amazing production.

On Monday we visited Uplands Care Home to take part in the Poetry Together Competition
A wonderful initiative that. Rings together young and old people to connect over the joy of poetry
Together we recited a poem and then had some chats afterwards with the residents

🎄CHRISTMAS BOX APPEAL 🎄
On Monday, we spent our time in community, filling shoeboxes with lots of goodies, from essentials such as, soap and shampoo to treats such as, sweets and colouring books
🍬🧼🖍
The boxes are will be distributed to orphanages, poor Roma communities, woman’s refuges, refugee camps, prisoners children, poor rural communities and isolated elderly or disabled people in Bulgaria and other SE European countries. For many, this will be the only gift they receive this Christmas.
Thank you so much to all our pupils for donating and helping us to make a small difference 🎁

All the boxes were wrapped up and have been collected to make their way to those less fortunate than us in SE Europe

From our all sites cross country and other sporting fixtures to masterclasses and celebrating awareness events, our pupils have had an active and rewarding first half term. . You fully deserve a relaxing break.
