Watching CVC words click into place through reading and writing is such a special milestone. On Saturday, we practiced sounding out, blending, reading, and writing simple CVC words, building the foundation for strong literacy skills. 💛
Every word read and every letter written is a step toward becoming a confident reader!

Today, as we celebrate 7 years of our Croydon School Readiness Programme, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing community.
To every child, parent, carer, and family who has been part of our journey over the years—thank you. Your trust, support, and commitment have helped make this programme what it is today.
We have had the privilege of supporting so many children as they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for their transition into school. Seeing them learn, grow, and thrive continues to inspire us every day.
This milestone would not have been possible without the families who attend, engage, and champion the importance of early learning. You are at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to celebrating 7 wonderful years and to many more years of supporting children and families across Croydon.

Fractions at 5 years old? Absolutely! 🌟
Most children in UK schools are formally introduced to fractions between ages 5 to7, but this young learner was already working academically beyond his age before joining us 👏📖➗
With the support of Chloe, we continue to nurture and extend his abilities by pushing him further than mainstream schools often can - while remaining accessible for families at a fraction of the cost of private tuition.
We believe children who are ready for more deserve to be challenged, inspired, and supported to reach their full potential 💙

She already knew her sounds, so today we took the next step, learning how to segment and blend sounds to read simple 3-letter CVC words. So proud of this bright 4-year-old superstar. Little steps, big progress. Early reading starts with strong foundations.
Not all heroes wear capes, some carry phonics cards and a lot of patience. 🦸♀️✨

As you know, we’ve been running a Saturday tuition group for a few years now, and it’s been amazing seeing how much the children have grown.
I’m now looking to expand this into weekday in-home support, so we can reach more children, especially those who may not be able to access help through school or other services.
We want to keep things affordable for our families, so I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help us grow and support more children.
