As we enter Tammuz and the Three Weeks, we reflect on our history, our challenges, and the strength of our people.

This year, these themes feel especially close to home. Yet even in difficult times, we hold onto hope, strengthen our faith, and support one another.

May this period bring comfort, strength, and blessing to us all.

Too Close for Comfort

Yesterday’s demonstration outside our premises was deeply unsettling for many local Jewish families. While these protests had previously taken place in the centre of London, allowing us to observe them from a distance, they never truly felt personal. Now, that
has changed.

It was an unfamiliar and uncomfortable feeling to hesitate before walking and driving yesterday afternoon. Yet, we went. Of course, we must remain cautious, but we must not allow ourselves to be intimidated.

At Seed, our response is not to scale back, but to step forward. We will teach more, inspire more, and engage more. It is essential that we do not allow those who seek to instil fear to succeed. Instead, we must find strength, stand tall, and lead with confidence.

But how do we speak to our young children about this? We recommend a reread of the 10 steps and, above all, give them a warm, healthy, home environment...one in which we are proud of our Judaism and our identity. That is the ultimate demonstration.

Join the fun and run for Seed

Under 2s are free! Every other family member will need to be signed up as a runner to take part in the 1km.

The deadline for postal registrations is Tuesday at 12:00pm. Online registration, with runner's pack collection on the day, closes on Thursday at 12:00pm. Following this deadline, runner and spectator tickets can only be purchased on the day of the event. Runner ticket prices will remain the same, while spectator tickets will be £5.
