After the 27th of August there will be no collection dates!

We will store the work that hasn’t been picked up for one month more, but will only operate delivery service 📦

PS we are still in the process of moving into a new space, sorry it is taking a bit longer than anticipated. From September we will temporarily only be running private events.

Get creative together with Decima Clay Studio!

We would love to host your event, be it a work party or a friends and family get together. We offer on-hand expert guidance from professional ceramic artists in an intimate setting.

Everything is included in the cost - aprons, tools all materials and firings, teas and coffees, there are no extra hidden fees ;)

Our studio is located in SE1, just 5 minutes walk from famous Bermondsey High Street - the foodie paradise.

We have created 3 workshop packages for small groups to choose from.

For larger groups up to 40 people we offer customised workshop options.

IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING COLLECTING YOUR WORK!!

To all of you who are yet to collect any fired work - be it from the last month of workshops or from classes at the Newington location… This is a quick reminder about collecting your pieces:

In August the collection slots will now only be on:

•Tuesdays 5 - 7 PM•

So August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th will be the last times you can come collect your work for the foreseeable future!

After this we will not be running our regular schedule of collections.

If you will struggle to make it in for these dates we advise you organise postage before August is over, take a look at the link on our site or get in touch via [email protected]

We are currently pushing any firings through as quickly as possible and will be in touch with you soon when your work is ready if your class was scheduled in the past couple of days!

Guys, there is still A LOT of bisque-ware waiting to be glazed from the old studio and this could be your final chance for a while!

Come make some ceramic work! All levels of experience welcome & all costs included in the price!

THEY’RE BACK! (But only for July)

You may have noticed we’ve scheduled a couple of Drop-in Sessions for the month of July… 

These classes are HAND-BUILDING sessions only. That means we don’t have the wheels set up! 

We do have all of our trusty Clay bodies and glazes, so this is a great opportunity to come and glaze any work you were half way through finishing.

Classes are suitable for beginners and people with experience alike!

Nerikomi workshops are ON this summer!

Nerikomi, also known as “neriage,” is a Japanese pottery technique involving the layering and blending of differently colored clays.

You can stack and slice these layers to create intricate patterns, which are then shaped into plates and bowls ( that are completely usable and dishwasher safe!).

This method highlights the natural beauty of the clay, offering a unique, marbled effect on each piece. Join us and try it yourself ✌️

We are moving, and next week will be the last week that we will be in our lovely studio at Newington Causeway. Here is what will happen to the collection of your fired pieces:
