Our natural thinkers approached the task of making wind catchers. They collected sticks and leaves and worked on how to use string to join them together

‘5 little ducks went swimming one day’🐥

The kids (and parents/carers who have seen our images displayed outside) have been so excited as all our ducklings have now hatched.

As the weather gets warmer, could you please ensure your child wears a sun hat to school and apply sun cream before they come to school in the morning and/or afternoon. Thank you.

Come along for our popular outdoor stay and play sessions with Chicken Shed for 1-5 years. Have your child engage in storytelling, messy play, and other fun activities. The sessions run from 1.00-2.30pm every Thursday.

The under 3’s practiced their fine motor skills and had fun at the same time by giving dinosaurs a makeover. After they finished painting them, the dinosaurs all got a wash to remove the paint. Cleaning the dinosaurs is amazing sensory play and builds essential skills.

Our natural thinkers used sticks, leaves and flowers that they had gathered to print and stick onto dough/clay. We discovered that pushing berries onto the dough changes its colour.
