Year 5 and Year 6 have been working hard in their Computing lessons with Miss Brown this term. In Year 5, they have been programming micro:bits using radio frequencies, sound and lights to pass messages between each other. They have also been learning video filming and production skills, linking to their English and History topics to film and edit videos in role as Queen Elizabeth I. Year 6 have been 3D modelling, learning how to create and manipulate virtual objects to design artwork, furniture and rooms. Miss Brown thinks that we may have some future programmers, videographers, architects and interior designers in our midst!

We are so proud of our Year 6s for absolutely smashing SATs week - they have worked incredibly hard! Alongside the tests, we have enjoyed art projects, a film afternoon, and a practical science lesson, and today we have finished off the week by starting rehearsals for our end of year play, The Jungle Book. Thank you also to our wonderful parent volunteers who have organised the leavers hoodies and provided delicious baked goods to keep us motivated all week!

πΈ Budding Artists πΈ
Our Reception children have been learning all about plants this week and put their creativity to work by creating beautiful observational drawings of a bunch of flowers using oil pastels. πΏπ¨
We think the results look absolutely amazing β each piece is wonderfully unique! The children are so proud to see their artwork proudly displayed in our classroom. πΌπΌοΈ
Well done to our talented young artists! π

This term the children have been enjoying our wonderful, new and improved mud kitchen in our Forest School area. We are very grateful to the Walker family for building the new area for us. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful place to play, explore and learn outdoors!

They are doing so well and are now past Coddenham! Feeling sweaty out there today and their feet are getting sore.

The walking team have made it to Mickfield. They are having a quick break and a well deserved snack to refuel. They still have a long way to go to get to Ipswich, but are doing amazingly. Well done!
