The Under-16 girls team from Polonnaruwa Girls Academy played against Weera Mohan Jayamaha National School, Dambulla. A great display of teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship from both sides! This match was proudly supported by Sylvia Lanka Foundation, promoting youth development through sport.

🏃⚽ PGFA Football Programme Update!

Today, our young players participated in an exciting session on “The Importance of Physical Fitness for Football Players”, led by Mr A. I. Dissanayake, our experienced Physical Education Instructor. 🏋️‍♂️

The workshop, designed for our U14 and U16 boys, focused on fitness routines, stamina building, and techniques to enhance performance on the field. The children were fully engaged and enthusiastic, reflecting their dedication to the FIFA Foundation development programme.

We are proud to see our players embracing fitness as a key part of their football journey! 💪⚽
