Student Initiative Leader Spotlight
This inspiring initiative was created by one of our students Aisha Y10, who recognised the importance of building stronger connections within our community and creating opportunities for positive change. Through their vision, passion, and determination, they developed a community-focused initiative that encourages students, staff, and local residents to come together, support one another, and make a difference in the world around them.
Working alongside our SASS Community Outreach Leaders, they helped turn their idea into action, creating opportunities for collaboration, volunteering, and community engagement. Their leadership demonstrates how a single idea can inspire others and create a lasting positive impact beyond the school gates.

Community Litter Picking Event
Our Community Outreach Leaders from SASS organised a successful litter-picking event at Stepney Green Park, bringing together members of the school community to help care for our local environment. In under an hour, we worked together to collect an impressive 15 bags of rubbish, making a positive difference to the park and creating a cleaner, safer space for everyone to enjoy. The event highlighted the importance of teamwork, community spirit, and taking responsibility for the places we share.

Music connects us across oceans. 🌍🎶
Our students are preparing for an unforgettable cultural journey that will deepen their understanding of heritage, creativity and shared history. While the main trip is funded, we’re raising support to enhance the experience — from meaningful activities abroad to powerful performances and community events when we return home.
Every donation helps amplify young voices and ensure this opportunity creates lasting impact both internationally and here in Tower Hamlets.

Celebrating Our Year 11 Leavers – Class of 2026
As the academic year draws to a close, we take this moment to celebrate and say farewell to our remarkable Year 11 students.
Over the past five years, this cohort has grown into a resilient, talented, and thoughtful group of young people who have left a lasting mark on our school community. From academic success and sporting triumphs to creative achievements and acts of kindness, they have shown what it truly means to embody our school values.
We are immensely proud of all they have accomplished—both in and out of the classroom—and particularly in how they have approached their GCSEs with maturity, determination, and focus. Whatever their next steps—whether it's sixth form, college, apprenticeships or other paths—we are confident they will go forward with the skills and confidence to thrive.
