Unveiling our little haven of creativity at Puddle Jumpers Nursery - Wapping. Inspired by the dynamic artistry of Jackson Po***ck, our bespoke Art Atelier is a vibrant space for children to explore their creativity. Our goal is to encourage imagination, self expression and the development of fine motor skills through hands on artistic experiences supported by our creative team. In fact our walls showcase a number of art pieces created by our artistic team and we can’t wait to add the works of the children to them soon!

A fun visit to Winter Ice exhibition 🧊 ❄️

Ramadan Kareem 🌙
Our pre-school have been learning about the different food and practices associated with the month of Ramadan. The children tasted some dates and decided they wanted to make some special Ramadan dishes.

Off they went to our local supermarket where the children independently spotted and picked out the required ingredients, they used the barcodes to scan the items through the self-serve counter and learnt how to insert coins to pay for our shopping! Back at the nursery the children worked on their grating, slicing and peeling skills all whilst carrying out smell and taste tests. They did an amazing job at following the instructions to fold the samosas into the desired triangular shape (not an easy task!) whilst discussing the number of sides a triangle should have and also added some spices and herbs to tickle those tastebuds 👅. They finally sat down for a lovely afternoon tea to sample their delicious creation 🤗

Look at the beautiful paper our pre-schoolers made! The children were enthralled learning about the process involved in recycling paper from creating the pulp mixture to moulding the recycled paper and adding the final flourishing touch of their hand dried flowers! Well done pre-school 🌸👏🏽

Happy Holi! Today was the perfect Spring day to celebrate which we did in the traditional way of throwing vibrantly coloured powder paint.

The children and educators had a fantastic time experimenting with different colours. What a day! 😀
