Strengthening India’s Talent Pipeline: Andrew Harding Engages Industry and Academia in Bengaluru

Andrew Harding FCMA CGMA, CEO of CIMA, visited Bengaluru from 2–4 June, engaging with key stakeholders across industry and academia. He led a “Future of Finance” session at Grant Thornton, sharing perspectives on how AI is reshaping finance roles beyond automation, alongside the growing importance of ESG and future-ready skills.

Andrew also chaired a CFO roundtable with senior finance leaders and engaged with local media, discussing the evolving role of finance leadership. The visit further strengthened academic partnerships through MoU signings with St Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous) and Jain (Deemed-to-be University), supporting CGMA integration and building a pipeline of future-ready finance talent in India.
