We were pleased to welcome the High Commissioner of Singapore to the UK, Mr Ng Teck Hean, and Deputy High Commissioner Nicola Anne‑Singh to Goodenough College on 29 April.
Led by the College Director, the Hon. Alice Walpole, Members of Goodenough’s Singaporean community joined our special guests for lunch and inspiring conversation at the College.

Goodenough Members recently enjoyed collaborating with College Alumnus John Willis, the founder of the Power2Inspire charity, on an inclusive sports event ‘PowerHouseGames’, held in Goodenough College’s Great Hall.

The PowerHouseGames bring together mixed teams to play inclusive and adapted sports, with every activity designed to be accessible, engaging, and fun for all participants.

John Willis, who was born without fully formed arms and legs, has spent his life challenging perceptions around disability and championing the transformative power of inclusive sport. In recognition of his inspirational work, he received a Pride of Britain Award in 2023.
