The Digital Disruption team attended the WMUK talk by Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia co-founder) last night. Really inspired stuff with topics broached such as a big push to improve the interface & technology of Wikipedia platform to make it more inclusive, promoting digital fluency, and a need to diversify contributors.

UK children 'babied by parents' Children are being "babied" by intrusive parents who do too much for them, leaving them unable to manage alone, says an adviser to David Cameron.
There are personal, societal and economic benefits to learning digital skills and there needs to be a fundamental literacy in order to be a truly active citizen in modern society. Agree?
