Mylinh passed first time at Hither Green test centre after it was cancelled in December due to the lockdown, congratulations Mylinh enjoy your new found freedom.
Update on DVSA practical test bookings, the booking system opened today for all those who wanted to book a practical test, unfortunately the system was massively swamped and then crashed, at this moment in time the DVSA are trying to fix the problem, hopefully it will be back to normal shortly.
Out today with three students, all PPE worn by myself and students alike and car sanitised at end of lesson and before start of next lesson, and then I see several other driving instructors and there students without any PPE what so ever, they are putting themselves and others at risk, do not get into any training vehicle without a mask on and make sure instructor has either a mask or shield.
Back to business, so far been what I expected some students need a little more help than others in getting back to their previous level, still have three students to rebook their tests, they are waiting for an invitation from the DVSA.
Just to keep you all updated, if the DVSA allow I should be able to return to work on July 15th to resume driving lessons.
Driving lessons are still on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic, until such time as the DVSA tell me they are going to reopen all test centres again lessons will remain suspended .

Well done Charles for passing your driving test with only two minor faults
The DVSA/ department of transport are going to introduce new penalties for not complying with the wearing of seatbelts while driving or being transported in a motor vehicle, this will now be a £200 fine together with 3 penalty points on your driving licence, the aim is too reduce the number of serious or fatal injuries on Britain’s roads, which not only devastates lives but is also a huge burden to the NHS budget.
