Hi everyone! So it’s my 21st this Tuesday coming (ew actual grown up age I know) and instead of doing a birthday fundraiser this year I would really love it if you could donate whatever you can to the link I’ll post below!

As most of you already know the original London cast of Matilda the Musical put together a video of us all singing when I grow up 10 years later! A lot of work and effort went into making it and I’m so pleased with how it turned out.

We set up a just giving page to raise money for our NHS who are undoubtably the glue holding us all together right now. So, I know money is tight for some people at the moment with all that’s going on but if you can spare anything it would be greatly appreciated and if not just a share of the video/donation link would go a long way! BARTA are delighted to announce that ex student Kerry Ingram has become a Patron of the Academy.
Kerry trained with BARTA between 2012 and 2018 performing in a number of our shows including Bugsy Malone, The Wizard of Oz, Spring Awakening and Les Miserables.
Kerry has also had many notable achievements outside of BARTA over the last 7 years including an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, appearing in 3 seasons of Game of Thrones and most recently playing the role of Becky in the Netflix drama Free Rein.
Kerry is very keen to support youth involvement and development in the arts and was delighted to become a patron of BARTA earlier this month.

Tickets must be ordered through the BARTA website and are just £10 for full time students aged 19 and under.

5 years ago Kerry Ingram, who has appeared in many shows here in the Wilde Theatre, visited South Hill Park to show her Olivier award for her performance as Matilida in the West End to CEO/Artistic Director Ron McAllister.

She will be treading the boards here again in AnimAlphabet in July.
