Inspiring serving women prisoners and prison-leavers for aspirational employment careers in fashion,
A social purpose enterprise with two aims:
To support women as they transition from prison to find meaningful employment futures in fashion, retail and associated creative industries. The second will be to develop a sustainable and ethical lingerie brand for people who care about a society by using their spending power to support social causes.

You enter prison, do your time and reality sets in ..
Youβve got nowhere to live.
I chose to stay a further 8 weeks because I chose not to live in an area far from my family.
We have to do better than this!
A new groundbreaking Residential Women's Centre will open its doors in 2024.
The new Residential Womenβs Centre will be located in the local community and is not a prison. Within the requirements of their sentence, women will be able to leave during the day and contact with families will be encouraged where appropriate.
It will be accessed by women who already live in the local community, meaning it will not result in an influx of female offenders into the local area.
The women at the centre will be on community orders supervised by a probation practitioner, and their sentence plan, which will include a package of bespoke structured interventions, will be delivered by probation and commissioned rehabilitation services.
The Residential Womenβs Centre pilot is a key commitment to the Female Offender Strategy. Future 4 Consortium consists of the following organisations: Safer Wales, Include, G4S and Llamau.
The pilot will create an effective service that reduces reoffending rates for women who come into contact with the criminal justice system
Prisoners are currently being paid with no increase in wages since 1994!
Nonworking Prisoners ie. prisoners who work
βΆ Β£0.45p an hour
βΆ Β£2.50 per week
Many prisoners get the chance to work while carrying out their sentence, for example making clothes and furniture or electrical engineering. This is done in prison workshops and is normally paid work. Prisoners can also work around the prison itself, for example in kitchens and laundries.
βΆ Working prisoners' weekly wage - Average Β£12.00
βΆ National Minimum weekly wage - Β£348.00
We believe that prisoners should not be paid almost nothing for the important work they do.
If we accept that prisoners should be required to work then shouldn't they be getting the same pay like everyone else?
We would love to hear your thoughts on this. Should prisoners' wages be increased in line with the cost of living?
