No single sign will indicate that your child is being bullied, but these are some things you can watch out for. 💚
Search ‘NSPCC Bullying’ for advice on what to do if you think your child is being bullied, or bullying someone else.

- Belongings getting ‘lost’ or damaged
- A change in how they’re doing at school

📱 "Will this actually make children safer online?"
That's the question we're asking at the Anti-Bullying Alliance following today's announcement of a proposed social media ban for under 16s.
💙 We all want children to be safer online.
⚠️ But we're concerned that many of the factors that drive bullying & other online harms could remain unchanged
⚠️ We're concerned children may still access social media, potentially in less regulated spaces.
⚠️ And we're concerned that technology companies could face less pressure to make their platforms safer
Children deserve safer online experiences, not just restrictions on access.

📱 Today’s social media ban announcement may have left some children and young people feeling worried, confused or upset.
While online spaces can expose children to bullying and other harms, they can also be places where friendships are maintained, interests are shared and support is found.
That’s why we’ve created some tips for parents, carers and professionals on how to talk to young people about today’s news, answer their questions and help them feel reassured. 💙
