Do you have problems concentrating when you sit down to write assignments? Have you ever heard of the Pomodoro Technique?
Set a timer to 25 minutes (either with an egg timer or with an app).
Work on the task for 25 minutes. ...
Take a 5-minute break for energy renewal, start another Pomodoro.
Reward: Take a 20-30 minute break after completing four Pomodoros.
Also, a great (paid) app called Forest allows you to help plant trees in the real world by subscribing and planting your own virtual tree. Set a timer and watch your tree grow :o)- OR pick up your phone and watch it die! :o(
