Dear caregivers of 4- and 5-year-olds at home ,

🎧𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬!🎧

We’re looking for families with 4 𝐚𝐧𝐝 5 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝 children to take part in a short, fun study. This study supports our partners, Hearing Diagnostics, in developing a child-friendly version of their hearing screening tool. It’s not a hearing test, but a playful way to see how well children can follow the instructions.

Hearing Diagnostics is dedicated to improving access to reliable and accurate hearing testing. Their mission is to make hearing screening more accessible for everyone by enabling testing outside hospitals and specialist environments. They’ve successfully developed an adult-focused screening tool, which is about to be rolled out, and are now working to adapt this technology for children.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻?
We’ll first check your child’s ears with an otoscope to make sure their ears are healthy. Then, your child will wear headphones and listen to sounds.

The listening part of the game will last only 5 minutes, but we’ve set aside up to 40 minutes to ensure your child feels comfortable and ready before we start.

Children aged 4 or 5 years old with no known hearing problems.
