We've heard that 2026 is the new 2016!

2016 to 2026 has been a huge decade here at John Lyon...
- We are now a co-ed school, inviting girls to join in 2021
- We are now 2 to 18, after our merger with Quainton Hall School
- We updated our uniform with a modernised lion logo
- The first female Head, Mrs Haynes retired and we welcomed Mrs Hardy
- We've made some major upgrades and refurbishments across the school
- Harrow Foundation has expanded globally

We're excited to start this year's journey together, celebrating our 150th anniversary - Stet Fortuna Domus!

This academic year, the Prep School partnered with 8billionideas to incorporate their ‘Perform Better – Grow Together’' initiative into PSHCE lessons for Years 4, 5 & 6.

To celebrate this partnership, the Prep School received the 8Billionideas Partnership Plaque, recognising our shared commitment to supporting pupil development and wellbeing.

🎨 Our A-Level and GCSE Art pupils excelled with their outstanding examination pieces for this year's end-of-term exhibition!

🏆📚We celebrated the outstanding achievements of our Senior and Prep pupils at two Speech Day events. A huge thank you to our amazing Guests of Honour, Nick Bandurak and Floyd Steadman OBE, for joining us. Congratulations to all on a terrific year!

☀️ For the first time, two much-loved annual events came together, connecting the whole School community - Festival of Sport and the Prep Summer Fair!
Together we successfully raised over £2,600.
