Jack Tizard staff have been training with Dan Beasley from Beasafe Training Limited.

They're trained to rescue people from swimming pools, administer first aid and use Defibrillators.

Keeping our pupils safe is our number one priority. It certainly looks like they had fun whilst training though!

A group of teachers from Jack Tizard were invited to Kensington Palace to learn more about the enrichment project that many of the school’s students are now engaged with. We were treated like VIP’s with drinks & nibbles & the opportunity to visit the exhibition “The Last Princesses of Punjab” where we learned about links between British & Punjabi royalty.
Many Jack Tizard students have enjoyed learning experiences at Kensington Palace this year including learning royal etiquette with “Queen Caroline”, gardening in the palace grounds and 1419LA students were involved in hugely rewarding work experience where they helped members of the public to learn about treasures in the Palace’s collection. The school is involved in a 5 year partnership with the education team at Kensington Palace that aims to provide many fantastic learning opportunities for Jack Tizard students in the future!

And off they go!

Some of our year 13 and 14 students left for their week long residential to Centre Parcs yesterday.

As well as supporting their Duke of Edinburgh qualifications and enhancing their skills and confidence levels, we are sure they will have lots of fun too! 😎🌲⚽️🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🎧🚌🛴

What a wonderful mini-marathon the 1419 department had yesterday. A huge well done to all the staff and students who completed four laps of Wormholt Park. The students enjoyed receiving their medals at the finish line too.
Good luck to Ally, Lachlan and Stefania for the virtual marathon this Sunday. Almost £2000 raised so far!
Go Team JT!! 😍💪👩‍🦽‍➡️🏃👩‍🦯

A group of secondary students have just completed an incredible 5-week Forest School programe at Holland Park!
Throughout the sessions, they had a fantastic time exploring the woodland while learning about trees, plants, and local wildlife. Through hands-on activities, students developed new skills and confidence — from building nests and shelters for animals, creating woodland masks with clay, trying wood cutting, to getting creative in the mud kitchen, just to name a few!
We ended our final session on a high note (and with a spark!) as students learned how to safely use flint and steel to make fire — a memorable experience for everyone involved.
It has been wonderful to see our students so engaged, curious, and enthusiastic while learning in the natural environment.
