We’re pleased to spotlight Pragya Maini, an MSc Human Resources and Organisations 2018 alum, whose career has spanned continents and industries. Now a Director in Boston Consulting Group’s People & Organization practice, based in Silicon Valley, Pragya works at the intersection of GenAI, people strategy, and organisational transformation. Her role combines advising global clients through complex change with leading an international team of organisation design and operating model specialists - helping businesses, and their people, thrive in an ever‑evolving world.

Federica Petrini & Luca Petrini 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Separated by countries, united by their formative experience at LSE. In this blog, Luca Petrini and Federica Petrini reflect on their studies in the Department of Management.

“We both came to LSE with the idea of building bridges between different fields.”

For Luca, the decision came after studying Chemistry. He wanted to move towards a role with commercial impact and was looking for a way to complement his analytical background with a broader understanding of how businesses operate. For Federica, the motivation was to connect an interest in psychology with a deeper understanding of organisations. The MSc Human Resources and Organisations programme offered the opportunity to explore how people and behaviour shape businesses while grounding those ideas in solid academic research.

We are delighted to share that Maria Volodkevich an MSc Marketing Alum who graduated in 2025 is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications at The COMMIT Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting United States service members, veterans, and military spouses transitioning into meaningful civilian careers. She leads brand strategy, storytelling, and digital growth, while building systems that connect military members to purpose-driven opportunities.

We are excited to share a brand-new optional Work Placement Pathway for our Master's in Management (MiM).

Starting from 2026/27, you'll have the option to gain real-world experience through a summer internship during the final stage of your programme.

You choose which companies to apply to, supported by one-to-one guidance from the department’s Careers, Alumni and Employer Relations team.

If secured, this will be recognised on your transcript as MSc Management (Work Placement Pathway), at no additional tuition fee and without extending the standard duration of your programme.

You don't need to decide now whether you want to take the pathway - you'll have plenty of time to learn more and make your decision after you join us.
