Today was Citizenship Day at our Junior School, where pupils learned about the valuable work carried out in our community and developed important life skills, including road safety, home safety, staying healthy and knowing who to contact in an emergency.

Children came to school dressed as 'important citizens' and enjoyed fascinating talks and workshops from a range of community organisations, including the Fire Service, Metropolitan Police, RNLI, Ealing Food Bank, Safari Pete and the Mayor of Ealing, Cllr Faduma Mohamed. 🚒👮‍♀️🩺🌊

Our youngest pupils in Nursery and Reception were thrilled to meet some firefighters from Ealing Fire Station, climbing aboard a real fire engine and even having a go with the fire hose!

A huge thank you to all our visitors for making it such an exciting and memorable day.

It was a pleasure to host the Ealing Learning Partnership AI Alliance Awards today, celebrating creativity, innovation and the thoughtful use of AI across Ealing schools.
It is inspiring to see so many schools in our area exploring how emerging technologies can be used responsibly, ethically and imaginatively within education.

Thank you to everyone who attended the afternoon.

As part of our Teacher Talk Series, Headmaster Mr Smith shared Why I Love France, taking the audience on a journey through the country's landscapes, literature, cuisine and culture. From Provence to Burgundy, and from Flaubert to Balzac, the talk offered a personal perspective on the places, people and traditions that make France so distinctive.

Our Annual House Poetry Competition was a wonderful celebration of creativity, confidence and expression across Years 3–6. Pupils delivered engaging and thoughtful performances, demonstrating impressive clarity and stage presence throughout, with an exceptionally high standard of poetry across the year groups.

It was great to have Mr Spencer, our published poet, and Mr Smith, Headmaster, judging the competition and sharing their thoughtful feedback.

Congratulations to Fisher House, this year’s winners, and well done to all pupils who took part.
