Our Eco Group turned data into action! 🌍📊 Using findings from our last session, pupils created pictograms and bar charts, then role-played speaking to parents about the impact of idling 🚗💨. They’re now ready to invite families to sign our anti-idling pledge and help make our school air cleaner! 💚

This week, Reception children have been learning all about 🐞 minibeasts 🐜. The children enjoyed using ♻️ junk modelling to create their own mini beasts 🐛, writing 📖 fact books, and describing ✏️ their chosen creatures. We also had lots of fun 😄 taking on the role of 🩺 vets, caring for animals 🐶🐾 in our role-play area 🎭.

Year 6 have had a fantastic end to the week 🎉, working collaboratively 🤝 to build their own bridges 🌉! They explored tessellating patterns 🔷🔶, thinking carefully about how shapes fit together 🧩, while also focusing on stability ⚖️ and reinforcement 🏗️ to make their structures as strong as possible 💪. It was wonderful to see such teamwork 🤗, creativity 🎨, and problem-solving 🧠 in action. We’re looking forward to completing our bridges next week 📅 and putting them to the test 🏁!
