Class of 1964
Do you remember….. Martin Luther King Jr winning the Nobel Peace Prize, and President Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964? The Beatles going to America and making their first appearance on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show’? Actor Peter Sellers marrying Swedish actress Britt Eklund?
What are your memories of WHS? It was the era of Mrs Piper: Did you help christen the new trampoline organised by Miss Bloss? Were you there for the inaugural meeting the Science Club in 1963 for Dr Bignell’s films about meteorology? Did you take part in the Senior School Concert or the Dramatic Club’s "She Stoops to Conquer"? Or perhaps you were one of the Sixth Form geographers and geologists who went with Miss Bloss and Miss Darby for a week of field work at Malham in Yorkshire and suffered a burst tyre on the way? Were you part of the victorious badminton team played who won their first match against Sutton High or in the swimming team who won the Trust Rally for the first time ever?
Now it’s your turn to come back to school for the Birthday Reunion!
Come and reminisce with your classmates and former staff, chuckle at old photos from the archive, have a lovely lunch and wonder at all the changes to the school site over the years..

Class of 1994
Do you remember….. the Channel Tunnel officially opening in May or Nelson Mandela’s inauguration as South Africa's first black president? PJ and Duncan getting ready to ‘rhumble’ and Four Weddings and a Funeral, Pulp Fiction and Forest Gump being released?
Meanwhile, at WHS it was the era of Mrs Baker, we welcomed Mrs Carpenter as Head of Mathematics after saying goodbye to Mrs Hill and bid a sudden and sad farewell to Mrs Thornton-Smith..
What are your memories? Did you help christen the new pool in the gala against Putney, or take part in the Trust Swimming Rally? Have you got tales to tell about the Art History Trip to Italy or the first ever UK "Take Your Daughter to Work" Day ?
Now it’s your turn to come back to school on Saturday 16 November for the Birthday Reunion!
Come and reminisce with your classmates and former staff, chuckle at old photos from the archive, have a lovely lunch and wonder at all the changes to the school site over the years..
Book now and please do spread the word – we don’t have contact details for everyone and it would be lovely to have as large a group of 1994-ers as possible!
